Kotei 2009: Maastricht, Netherlands (April 4-5)

The Kyuden Holland event team will again be hosting the BeNeLux Kotei in 2009.

For the 2009 Kotei we have chosen to stray from our trusted formula at Zwolle (with the famed Tuf Tuf Sake house) because Zwolle was a long drive for Belgians and Luxembourgians (?) and we would like to see more of them at our events. Also, Maastricht is closer for the Northerly French, so we hope to welcome a delegation of them too. For most of our beloved German guests, the distance should be about the same and in our experience the Germans are least likely to mind a road-trip.

Please pre-pay when you're able, because currently we have a maximum of 80 participants for this event. If enough people pre-pay we can rent a 2nd room and welcome another 80 players. Also, pre-payment is very important for the TO team so we can plan our budget and prize-support more precisely.

Maastricht is a beatiful city with a very old city centre. It has many bars and restaurants and our venue is located at the edge of the city's park and on the waterfront of the river Maas. You can sleep at the venue since its also a Hostel (book there early, their weekends are always full) or at one of many Hotels located in the area. If you come by car, there is also a Formula 1 Hotel located outside of the city which is very reasonably priced. More information can be found on our website.
